The Vizzy Timeline
Use
the timeline to navigate through the music, place cues, and control
tweening.

Spectral View (black background):
This is the music. Dragging the mouse will move the current point
(red line).
The current cue-- the one in the Cue Control
Window--
is the
cue that starts immediately left of the current point.
Cue region (blue background):
Double-click to
add a cue, drag it around to place it. Cues contain the
script that renders each frame.
"Tweening" occurs over the width of a cue.
Timeline Controls (bottom row):
Bottom left:
- Cue width (sets tweening duration). A bit confusing:
this acts on the SELECTED cue, not necessarily the same as the CURRENT
cue that's shown in the Control window! Select a cue by clicking
on it.
- Start and end frame of current cue, and start of the next
cue. Useful for checking transitions. May be used as input
fields.
Bottom center: Frame counter;
sets the current frame.
Bottom right:
- delete selected cue
- transfer settings: from selected cue to previous
- transfer settings: to selected cue from previous
- play timeline audio (the popup lets you set the current
tempo by
tapping the shift key)
- Zoom in
- Zoom to fit
