Vizzy: Music Animations

To Start:

Load an audio file (File > Open Audio, or drop on Vizzy's icon)

• Vizzy can open .wav or .aiff files
• Vizzy can translate .mp3 files    (must save the .wav file somewhere)
• Vizzy also loads audio files saved in its native format (.nw0)

Making a Movie:

'Make Movie' starts rendering frames, saving them to disk.

• Vizzy creates a directory for frames. (can be changed in File>Preferences)
• Vizzy runs faster if the frames directory is hidden from Spotlight! (System Preferences>Spotlight)
• 'Continue' starts making frames from the current location.

'Preview' lets you see your movie so far!

• Dismiss the preview controls to continue editing.
• Make a permanent movie with Quicktime Pro > Open Image Sequence (or similar), and add the soundtrack.
• The default frames directory is ~/Movies/_frames.

• Project > Clear Frames   (remove image files from frames directory)
• Project > Clear Script    (remove cues & drawing instructions)
• Project > Restore Defaults   (reset Preferences to default)
